Route 133 Auto ("we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect through our website (route133auto.com), our Facebook and Instagram advertisements, and our other digital touchpoints; how we use that information; and the choices you have. By using our website or submitting any form, you agree to the terms below.

Information We Collect

Information you provide to us directly

Information collected automatically

When you visit our website we automatically collect technical information including IP address, approximate geographic location (derived from IP), browser type and version, operating system, device type, referring URL, pages viewed, time on page, scroll depth, and click events. This information is gathered through cookies and similar tracking technologies — see Cookies, Analytics & Advertising Tracking.

Information collected from third parties

When you submit a lead form through a Facebook or Instagram advertisement, your information is provided to us by Meta Platforms, Inc. in accordance with Meta's terms. We may also receive information from advertising platforms about how you interacted with our ads (for example, whether you clicked).

How We Use Your Information

How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share it with the following categories of recipients:

Cookies, Analytics & Advertising Tracking

We use cookies, pixels, and similar tracking technologies to understand how visitors use our site and to deliver more relevant advertising. The main third-party tools we use are listed below.

Google Analytics 4 (GA4)

We use Google Analytics 4 to measure website traffic and engagement. GA4 collects information about your device, browser, and how you interact with our pages (sessions, pageviews, events such as scrolls, clicks, form submissions, and bookings). GA4 may set first-party cookies on your device.

To opt out of GA4 tracking, you can install the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on, use your browser's "Do Not Track" or cookie controls, or use a private/incognito window. Learn more at policies.google.com/privacy.

Meta Pixel & Conversions API

We use the Meta Pixel (and the related Meta Conversions API) on our website to measure the effectiveness of our Facebook and Instagram advertising, to build custom audiences, and to deliver more relevant ads to people who have visited our site. The Pixel may set cookies and share with Meta: your IP address, browser/device information, the pages you viewed on our site, and standard events such as "PageView" and "ScheduleClick." If you are logged into Facebook or Instagram, Meta may also associate this activity with your Meta account.

You can manage how Meta uses your activity from partners (including our Pixel) in your Meta account settings under Off-Facebook Activity. You can also opt out of interest-based advertising from many ad networks at optout.aboutads.info and youradchoices.com. See Meta's data policy at facebook.com/policy.php.

Other tracking

We may use CallRail (for tracking which marketing channel produced a phone call to us), ShopMonkey scheduler analytics, and standard server logs. Most browsers let you block or delete cookies through their settings; doing so may prevent some features of our website from working as intended.

"Do Not Track" signals

Our website does not currently respond to "Do Not Track" browser signals because no industry standard exists for how to interpret them. You can still opt out of analytics and advertising tracking using the controls described above.

Text Messages & Calls

If you provide a phone number — through our website, an ad, our chat widget, or by calling us — you consent to receive calls and text messages from Route 133 Auto regarding your inquiry, appointment, vehicle, or follow-up. Calls or messages may be recorded for quality and training purposes. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies. You may opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP to any message, or by calling us at 978-283-3331.

We may use an automated voice assistant ("Alex") to answer inbound calls on our behalf, collect basic information, and pass requests to the team. Recordings and transcripts of those calls may be stored to follow up with you and to improve service quality.

Children's Privacy (Under 13)

Our website and services are not directed to children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

If you are under 13, please do not submit any information through our website, ads, chat widget, or other forms. If you are a parent or guardian and you believe your child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us using the information in the Contact Us section below and we will delete that information from our records as soon as reasonably possible. This is in compliance with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).

Your Rights & Choices

Depending on where you live, you may have certain rights regarding your personal information, including the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict our use of the information we hold about you. To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the information in the Contact Us section.

California residents: You have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), including the right to know what personal information we collect, the right to request deletion, and the right to opt out of any sale or sharing of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not sell personal information for money. To exercise your CCPA rights, contact us using the information below.

EU/UK residents: Because we operate in Massachusetts and direct our services to U.S. customers, we do not target EU or UK residents. If you are located in the EU/UK and have visited our site, contact us and we will honor reasonable requests to access or delete your information.

Data Retention

We retain your information for as long as needed to provide you with service, comply with our legal obligations (including tax and accounting records), resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Marketing communications data is retained until you opt out. Service records may be retained for the life of your vehicle service history with us, typically up to seven (7) years.

Security

We use commercially reasonable physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to protect the information you provide to us. However, no method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
