These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our website at route133auto.com, our online booking and chat tools, our Facebook and Instagram advertisements, our automated phone assistant, and any in-person automotive services we provide to you (collectively, the "Services"). By accessing the Services or by leaving your vehicle with us for service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.
Route 133 Auto is an independent automotive repair and detailing shop located at 209 Essex Ave, Gloucester, MA 01930. We offer oil changes, state inspections, brakes, tires, exhaust, A/C service, ceramic window tinting, and full-service detailing. Specific services, availability, and pricing are subject to change without notice.
Prices quoted on our website, in advertisements, or in chat are estimates only and may vary depending on the specific make, model, year, condition, and parts required for your vehicle. A formal written or verbal estimate will be provided before any work begins. By authorizing the work — verbally, in writing, by text, or in person — you agree to pay the quoted amount plus any necessary additional work you separately authorize.
Payment is due upon completion of service unless other arrangements have been made in advance. We accept cash, check, and major credit and debit cards. Vehicles will not be released until payment in full is received. Unpaid balances may accrue interest and be referred to collections as permitted by Massachusetts law.
We stand behind our workmanship. Unless a longer warranty is stated in writing on your invoice, our standard labor warranty is twelve (12) months or twelve thousand (12,000) miles, whichever comes first, on the specific repair we performed. Parts warranties are governed by the manufacturer of the part and are passed through to you.
State inspections are performed in accordance with Massachusetts RMV requirements; a rejection sticker is not a defect in our service.
You are responsible for removing personal valuables from your vehicle before drop-off. We are not responsible for loss of or damage to personal property left in or on a vehicle. Vehicles must be picked up within seven (7) days of completion. Vehicles left longer than fourteen (14) days without arrangement may incur a daily storage fee and, after thirty (30) days, may be subject to mechanic's lien under Massachusetts General Laws Chapter 255 § 25.
Our outdoor drop box is for dropping keys off only — it does not unlock and we cannot release keys through the drop box. To pick up keys you must come into the office during open hours.
Our online scheduler and chat widget allow you to request an appointment. A submitted request is not a confirmed appointment until a member of our team contacts you to confirm. We reserve the right to reschedule or decline any appointment request.
By providing your phone number through any channel — website, ad, chat, phone call to our automated assistant, or in person — you consent to receive calls and text messages from us regarding your inquiry, appointment, vehicle, or follow-up. See our Privacy Policy for full details. You may opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP.

Our total aggregate liability to you for any and all claims arising out of or related to the Services shall not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you actually paid us for the specific service giving rise to the claim, or (b) one hundred U.S. dollars ($100). Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain damages, so portions of this section may not apply to you.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Route 133 Auto and its owners, employees, and affiliates from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to: (a) your use or misuse of the Services; (b) your violation of these Terms; or (c) your violation of any third-party right or applicable law.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising out of or related to these Terms or the Services shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Essex County, Massachusetts, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Services after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
